Born out of the love for wildlife and nature, Wild Side of Art is a privately funded independent environmental education group.
Nature-deficit disorder affects people of all ages and capabilities, especially children and people with disability, and we firmly believe that all people should have equal opportunity to experience nature while a disability or a family's ability to pay should not be a deterrent to gaining these experiences.
We will be providing free distribution of nature based books and offering free showings of wildlife and conservation films that we have created or that we have been so generously been given permission to show. All designed to educate and create awareness of matters influencing our environment . . . to improve basic understanding of the natural world through the written word and video productions . . . connecting people with nature and inspiring them to protect and conserve wildlife . . . to motivate our youth to become involved . . . to build a wildlife conservation mentality leading to their involvement in research, education, community-based conservation projects and politics.
